I'm carrying all the love of an orchestra: archive / rss / ask / last.fm
Hi I'm Alex

tonight (instead of getting things done)

I went to Berklee to see a group of students perform their own songs. they were wonderful. it was amazing being in this tiny room with everyone so passionate about what they do, and so grateful to be doing it. I don’t know. I’m really happy to have experienced that instead of reading about the sympathetic nervous system.
it also kind of made me resent all of the hugely popular artists that don’t even possess a fraction of the talent these students have. not because I dislike them as people, or because I dislike their music, or anything. but it just seems like they’re taking up space… or credit… or air… that could go to someone much more worthy. to me, at least.

The Temper Trap - Soldier On by The Temper Trap
I was just wondering if you’d come along, hold up my head when my head won’t hold on…

it’s been a long damn day

and a long damn time since I’ve listened to this song

I’m looking forward to oatmeal in the morning

oatmeal is great

Justin Vernon’s about to sing me to sleep.
